I started YouScoop for very selfish reasons.  I have received countless emails and calls from friends, and friends of friends, asking for advice on where to go, what to do, where to eat, or how to buy.

I have always enjoyed discovering great spots off the beaten path.  And I am very fortunate to have the ability to spend time visiting a lot of great places.

With the launch of YouScoop, I can now provide anyone and everyone with the ability to learn about the latest trends in entertainment, restaurants and bars, fashion, the arts, travel destinations and more.

I always try to support local entrepreneurs in my hometown of Columbus, as well as anywhere I visit.  Many of the places and products featured on YouScoop will not be found in the mall.

You have a couple of options on how to get the scoop.  Our website, www.getyouscoop.com, will always feature the latest posting, as well as offer resources like a calendar of events, links to a few of our friends, and other cool extras.

You can also register for our free daily email digest.  Each time we post a new story on getyouscoop.com, you will receive an email with a highlight of the day’s information.  The email will also feature a link back to the getyouscoop.com home page.

Rest assured we will not sell your email address to the highest bidder (see our privacy policy).  Occasionally, we might write about something for which we are compensated.  When that happens, and it won’t be very often, we will be sure to let you know.  Otherwise, all the things featured in YouScoop will be the opinion of the editorial staff.  We do not operate a “pay-for-play” system.
