Ten gets its fair share of at-ten-tion.  There are the famous Top Ten lists, Perfect Ten scores, and the Big Ten Conference, just to name a few.

And what about11?  It claims the second half of a quickie mart chain’s name and the late night news hour.  Snooze.

That is about to change in Columbus.

Eleven, a new dining and drinking destination on the Short North’s Cap, is scheduled to open today.  It promises a seasonal menu of small-plate items and a bar pouring some of the most interesting cocktails in Central Ohio.  Drinks will feature “molecular mixology” techniques, the recently legalized absinthe, and, of course, a wide selection of wines by the bottle and glass.

For the next couple of months, patrons of Eleven can enjoy an outdoor dining experience on the large patio, as well as an indoor-outdoor bar.

Sounds like the number reasons to visit Cap is really adding up.
