Change Is Here

obamachange.jpgWhile the Inauguration of the nation’s 44th president is still days away, change is already here.  Literally.  In fact, if you watch cable television, change appears during nearly every commercial break.

Perhaps holiday shoppers held back in order to save for the big celebration in D.C. next week.  After all, the airwaves are flooded with ads promoting the Obama coin and coin set (click on highlighted links).  That’s change we all need…

For those hoping to serve-up some change , look no further than the Obama plate .  But hurry, the company only offers two plates per customer (Greek-wedding-guests-for-Obama be damned).

For those with a bit more taste, don’t miss the Obama cookies from famed NYC cookie purveyor Eleni’s.

And for locals in Columbus truly hungry for change, on Inaugural eve (Monday, January 19), The Hills Market will offer a dinner inspired by courses from Inaugural Lunches of years past.  The four-course and three-wine meal, served in the wine department, costs $35 per person (reservations required).

But what if change scares the bejeezes out of you???  Consider taking a day-trip to Canada next Tuesday - we bet you’ll enjoy the distraction.
